Blue Tongue Premium Lager Blue Tongue Premium Light
Bluetongue Brewery was founded in November 2003 by four Hunter based entrepreneurs who wanted to create premium Australian beer with the stamp of their local region. Their vision was to produce a range of beers suitable for the Australian palate, to delight with original flavours and tantalise the taste buds with an unexpected and fresh beer experience. Today a team of passionate local brewers oversee the creation of the Bluetongue range. The brewers approach their craft with total care and commitment, ensuring the highest of standards are met across the brewing process. It is this passion which guarantees that every taste of Bluetongue is of superior quality from the first swig, to the last drop. All Bluetongue beers are handcrafted using traditional methods and the four natural ingredients; water, yeast, hops and barley, with no preservatives. We do however still like to be innovative and have thrown in a fifth ingredient, ginger, which adds the zing to our famous Bluetongue Alcoholic Ginger Beer. This unique beer was the first release under the Bluetongue banner in 2003 and we believe embodies the Australian spirit that the brand whole heartedly endorses - cheeky, original, enterprising and fun! The future for Bluetongue Brewery is exciting. In late 2008 we will commence building a new brewery, situated at the gateway to the Hunter Region. The new facility will be fully operational in early 2010, will employ world's best practice brewing techniques and maintain strict environmental standards.
